The ELS Vocoder might serve as a good replacement for any hardware vocoder. The advantage is that it doesn’t quite sound like any other software plugin vocoder. This one manages to be both musical and robotic!

Hack an old Nord Modular to a G2

Not too much going on right now except holiday goodness! I hope most of you are enjoying yourself till new year instead of reading blogs. But, I thought I’d drop in and post this hack which I found was really interesting. Anything that adds useful functionality is a sweet hack!

converts old Nord Modular ( Clavia NordModular, NordModularRack) to G2 Clavia NordModularG2, g2x, G2engine.. not bad.

Abletone Live 6.03 update

Ableton goes to version 6.03 with some bug fixes.
Update fixes crashes when loading presets and dragging and dropping of vsts & waves.
Performance is improved.
