You can check their database, and also Search Youtube to see if someone posted a re-edit of your mix, which Phonica could be selling. Report content abuse on Myspace to get your content removed if necessary. You might be getting ripped off $$$ and not know it yet.

Audio Tool is an emulation of two Roland TB-303s, a TR-909, and a bunch of the roland/boss stomp boxes. It is very reminiscent of the classic program Propellerhead Rebirth, but without the TR-808 and better graphics.

Audio tool is simple to use and includes rewiring/audio routing on the same screen that you make your music on, which makes more sense than Propellerhead Reason’s double screened rack system.

I believe they are using java/flash to run the program in the browser, but it is as easy to use as any flash app. They did an excellent job making it, even if it has been done before. Missing is a way to save your songs but you can’t complain because its better than Rebirth in alot of ways.

Its fun.

When I see things like this… I realize that some people out there are a lot smarter than me… it makes me realize how stupid I am and how far behind I am in evrey thing… I am glad that we have people smarter than me working on stuff.

It looks like this software can change the pitch of chords that are already buried in samples. That is kind of insane. Some people are complaining about the digital artifacts, but what else do you expect when you are changing pitch? It happens normally. Very cool idea, and that fact they have it working is very cool

Can you record an album in 28 days?? With the RPM Challenge you can try. Its not too late to make your own album! Sign up now.
It started February 1st, but the deadline is March 1st, so you still can make it. At the end of the 28 days, artists send in their albums to the RPM headquarters, which allows you to get your music streamed across the website. RPM is not shady. You retain the rights to your own works.

I have always thought of making my own album but it seemed like every track I made turned out different. I think the best way to go would be to pick out a limited number of instruments/patches, that are your absolute favourite, then record a song based on those. You could get 35 minutes worth of music in no time, then later add sound reinforcements and perfect the mixing. If your thinking about giving it a go, bet sure to write about your experience!
