You do not have to buy the NES or mess around old gear and software that doesnt quite emulate that natural sound 8 bit sound. These are profesionally recorded samples at 24 bit 96khz bit rate directly from the NES output on the back of the machine. People will actually think you have an NES with midi. Multi Format Samplers Now Supported

Just a note:

Multi-sample formats are now available for the Nes Wave Pack and SK1 Complete sample packs. Previously these were Reason Refills only, which are also still avaiable as a seperate product. Native Instruments, Giga, and Soundfont 2 are supported. Multisample Patches are included with seperate drum samples for easy, custom loading.

This Reason Refill attempts to do what Amplitube does, by providing preset tones that help you shape and mould the provided guitar sounds. Various presets range from aproximations of Gerry Garcia, to Jimi Hendrix. 80s style phasers and dark atmospheric tones are also there to keep you creative. Reason 3.0 & 4.0 Compatible. The only downside is that it doesnt let you import files. I think they want you to get used to the software first and then upgrade to their pro models…but how can you turn down a VST with 2GB free sounds?!!
