I’m looking for help to add new features to the site. I’ve looked into user forums and also a pay to post gear auctions system, but have mostly failed at doing so. Perhaps Wordpress is to blame and its lack of plugins. I want more people interacting on the site. I’d like switch over to a new platform while adding these two features if anyone can help.

Needed Features:

  • Forum
  • User Auctions like sitepoint.com marketplace, but centered on selling electronic music equipment (Pay to post. I receive a paypal payment when someone posts)

Concerns:

  • Auctions viewable from main page
  • Possible Wordpress to Joomla or Drupal conversion (if needed to accomplish above tasks)
  • Blog links remain same (if it no longer uses wordpress, I’d like to keep incoming links)
  • Single login for all areas
  • Current color scheme & text size CSS
