Need some sound patches for your sampler? Check out Hammersound.net It has been around for a very long time, but still delivers tons of kits. Many are in SoundFont (SF2) format, which can be converted to AKAI, REASON, etc. etc. with a translator program.

Chick Systems, has very good sample translation products, including one that will convert akai discs over to Alesis programs.

Also check out CDextract, which seems to be a very popular sampler format converter.

Their websites aren’t very attractive but the products are excellent!

Child gets drunk and “rapes” teacher after listening to Kidz Bop 12

NYC, NY: Kidz Bop 12, the hit CD which takes radio hits and markets them to kids is to blame for recent child criminal behavior.

“He was just acting like an adult in the songs” his mother said. “If I had known that it wasnt good for my kids, this wouldnt have happened. But its not my fault.”

Kids bop 12 contains lyrics which talk about girlfriends, breakups, and getting it on. The teacher who was the victim wishes to remain anonymous and clarifies, that it was sort of like being raped, but not really. The schoolteacher sustained bruises and facial scarring and is currently released from the hospital.

“He kind of wanted the Hannah Montana CD, but I said no.” says the mother

What really happened and who is at fault will remain a mystery since no charges have been filed.
